Are there any requirements to attend the 2021 ZIN™ Academy Houston, TX?

Yes. This event is exclusive to members of the Zumba® Instructor Network (ZIN™). You must be a ZIN™ Member with an account in good standing at the time of registration and at the time of the event. In the event that your ZIN™ Account is not in good standing at the time of the event (October 16, 2021), your event registration will be cancelled, and registration fees will not be refunded (refer to cancellation policy below).

Will I get a certificate of completion for attending the 2021 ZIN™ Academy Houston, TX?

No. However, you will receive a Zumba® Instructor Academy "Badge" on your ZIN™ Profile Page.

Will I receive Continuing Professional Development Points for attending the 2021 ZIN™ Academy Houston, TX?

Yes. By attending the full day of the 2021 ZIN™ Academy Houston, TX, you can receive CPD Points. A full list of CPD Points available and how to receive them will be available prior to the event.

What is the event cancellation policy?

Our policy varies depending on the date of cancellation.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Until July 21, 2021; Cancellation fee: 50% of registration fee

After July 21, 2021; Cancellation fee: NO REFUNDS

To cancel your event registration, simply click on "Register Now," type in your username and password and follow the on-screen directions.

If you do not cancel before July 22, 2021, and do not attend, you will not receive a refund.

Can I transfer my event registration to another ZIN™ Member?

No.

If I can’t make it to the 2021 ZIN™ Academy Houston, TX, can I apply my event registration to other Zumba® products (e.g., Instructor Trainings, Zumba® wear merchandise, other Zumba® events, etc.)?

No, you will not be able to apply your 2021 ZIN™ Academy Houston, TX registration to other Zumba® products or events. If you’re unable to make it to the 2021 ZIN™ Academy Houston, TX, be sure to cancel as soon as possible to avoid the no-show fee (refer to cancellation policy above).

When will registration for the 2021 ZIN™ Academy Houston, TX close?

The last day to register for the 2021 ZIN™ Academy Houston, TX will be October 12, 2021 unless the event sells out prior to that date.

Will there be Zumba® wear merchandise for sale at the 2021 ZIN™ Academy Houston, TX?

Yes, you will be able to buy Zumba® wear on site.

If I am feeling sick or experiencing any COVID-19 related symptoms on the day of the event, should I come to the event?

If you are sick or experiencing any COVID-19 related symptoms (including, but not limited to, a fever, cough, or shortness of breath), you should not attend the event. We ask that you not attend if any of the following is true for you or anyone in your party:

  1. Within 14 days before attending the event you have tested positive, or been exposed to someone who has tested positive for, COVID-19;
  2. Within 48 hours prior to attending the event, you or any member of your immediate household have experienced symptoms of COVID-19 (e.g., a fever of 100.4F or higher, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, chills, repeated shaking muscle pain/achiness, headache, sore throat, loss of taste or smell, nasal congestion, runny nose, vomiting, diarrhea, fatigue or any other symptoms associated with COVID-19 identified by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention);
  3. Within 14 days prior to attending the event, you have traveled to any international territory identified by federal or applicable state or local governments as being subject to travel or quarantine advisories due to COVID-19.

Are there any COVID-19 guidelines or protocols in place for this event?

To help ensure safety for all in attendance, you must provide a Negative PCR COVID-19 test result to attend the Houston Academy. The test must be obtained within 72 hours of attending the Houston Academy and presented at the door. PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE WILL NOT BE ANY EXCEPTIONS GRANTED TO THIS POLICY.

You will be asked to present at the door:
A copy of a Negative PCR COVID-19 test result (digital or printed) – taken no more than 72 hours prior to the event. All attendees must provide this at the entrance of the event.

Masks will be available to all attendees at no cost, and we highly encourage non-vaccinated or immunocompromised participants to wear them during the event. As well, we will have increased cleaning services and hand sanitizers on site.
